Prior to joining BAE Systems, Hudson led the global vehicle systems portfolio for Rheinmetall, based in Germany, held senior roles with General Dynamics, based in Switzerland and served as an Officer in the Australian Army, including active service in East Timor. Now Hudson has singed a deal with MBDA to build missiles in Australia.

Australian BAE systems is notionally assigned to operate the Asia - Pacific Regional Warehouse for the Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program at the Royal Australian Air Force Base in Williamstown. The parent company, BAE Systems in the UK, was offered a $368 billion dollar contract to build nuclear submarines for Australia as part of the AUKUS agreement between Australia, the UK and the US.
