Steel Core Designs specialises in the manufacturer of a range of sniper rifles, including the Cyclone, Thunderbolt, and Hurricane. The company has a manufacturing facility in Kent. Steel Core Designs applied for one license to export to Indonesia, in 2015.

Cyclone MSR Sniper Rifle
The Steel Core Design's brochure for the Cyclone sniper rifle claims it is "Ideal for Law Enforcement, Military and Government agency application" and - depending on the model chosen - has a range up to 1,800m.
A “Cyclone MSR” sniper rifle, manufactured by Steel Core Designs, was reportedly displayed as part of a BRIMOB demonstration at Atang Sendjaja Air Base in 2018. A rifle that appears very visually similar was photographed being inspected by members of BRIMOB in a photo shared on an official BRIMOB instagram account in May 2022.
